Ever get burnt out while researching? Sometimes I want to blog on a topic, but can’t find any articles or research that ignite a good idea. Google released a new tool that’s helped me when I need ideas and information. Visit visit the Google Wonder Wheel to try it out yourself – it’s an idea wheel with branches to click on. I ran a search on home theaters, and then I can click on Home Theater Room for more ideas.
Try entering any current event you’d like to blog about, such as “You Lie!” It’s the latest political to-do that’s causing some series backlash. You click your way to find his apology and responses from around the country. This presents information to blog about rules of conduct in our government, or how we treat the president.
I tried a few topics like “Money for Single Moms,” and “Swine Flu” to follow where the wheels would lead. By clicking further, I came up with more specific topics. I read a recent article stating the swine flu vaccine appears to be effected in adults. (That’s good to know!)
I love the topics that pop up to the right with headlines and summaries. It’s like Google is doing your research for you while offering extra ideas, providing you with plenty of research for your topic.
The Google Wonder Wheel is worth a try, or a few, to see if you’ll enjoy spinning some subjects to write about, whether your subject is beauty, politics, business or something else. I learned new things on my topics with a few clicks.
